40TH ANNIVERSARY PERFORMANCE OF

White With Wire Wheels

A major event in 2007 - the 40th anniversary of the play that premiered at Melbourne University and heralded the beginnings of Australian theatre. WwWW is the story of three men, their obsession with cars and their women. Written and performed before feminism took off, the play takes a long hard look at the emergence of the independent woman.


Supported by the Vice Chancellor and University's Cultural Community Relations Advisory Fund involving a collaboration between Theatre Board, Union House Theatre, Victorian College of the Arts and the Faculties of Arts & Education, White with Wire Wheels' season will be in conjunction with the Enter the New Wave Symposium.
