Dangerous Dreaming alludes to the public effects of our private stories, and the private effects of public stories. Through public dreaming the issues of refugees, racial relations, wars on terrorism become part of our creative selves. The title also refers to the dangers of misrepresenting or misunderstanding the relations between creativity and politics.
AAWP conference 2002, Dangerous Dreaming will be located at the School of Creative Arts, University of Melbourne, Arts Centre Building, corner Swanston and Grattan Streets, Victoria 3010 on the 22nd, 23rd and 24th November 2002.
