Crunch is the theatre production company of the School of Creative Arts. Since 1995 we have showcased the talents of our school in an annual show, produced entirely by students. We aim to create relevant, interesting and thought-provoking theatre, and have this year turned our attention to the political and satirical elements of cabaret and musical theatre with our new production, Melbourne Model: The Musical.

Crunch strives to continue creating and showcasing the talents of Creative Arts Students, but since the installation of the Melbourne Model the degree is now in the process of being taught out. Creative Arts was known to offer a different range of choices, giving students a chance to try all kinds of disciplines within the creative arts, but has been downsized, with only minimal subjects or subjects being combined into generic courses.

The days of Creative Arts are numbered, and there is nothing that can be done about it. We will endeavour to exhibit the eclectic, dynamic and vibrant students of Creative Arts until the very end.
