About Crunch! Productions Crunch! Productions was established by The University of Melbourne’s School of Creative Arts (formerly the School of Studies in Creative Arts, Victorian College of the Arts) as a means of demonstrating the vast array of talents amongst its students. Crunch! has since become an annual, wholly student-run production, accommodating displays of theatre, dance, poetry, film and design. In 2006, Crunch! takes a new direction. This year, we are encouraging artists (actors, writers, musicians, technicians, directors and more) to work in collaboration, with a view to fostering and emphasising the notion of “compromise” within the theatrical process, whilst at the same time entrusting our artists with creative autonomy. We are confident the result will be a vibrant, innovative, insightful and engaging piece of theatre. Crunch!06 is not to be missed!
