Arts Management

Studies in Arts Management are offered at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. These courses are vocationally oriented and aim at preparing graduates to work in a diversity of arts and cultural industry environments which may range from large organisations and government departments to self-employment in the arts. The courses aim to impart an understanding and appreciation of the arts, and the range of skills to manage cultural resources, both human and material. The studies provide a balance between theory and practice through the content of the lectures, the frequent use of guest lecturers from organisations within the industry, through practical assignments and through opportunities for field work.
